Cynthia Louise Bissett was the Vice President of Verizon's mobile network. Joseph Anthony Germanotta Jr. is her father. He's director of a company on the internet and businessman. She was born and raised as an Catholic in the city of Manhattan's Upper East Side. Her parents enrolled their daughter in the Convent of the Sacred Heart which is a prestigious religious institution. When she was little she was a lover of music. She learned how to play piano from a young age and wrote her first song of original composition at the age of thirteen. She took part in the open mic evening. She was a huge fan of Queen Michael Jackson, Madonna as well as David Bowie. When she graduated from high school she entered New York University's Tisch School of Art to pursue a degree in music. She did not complete her study, but left them to pursue her music career.
